Infertility – the silent struggle

Updated: Feb 26, 2020

It seems more and more couples struggle with infertility in one form or another these days. There are a few things that everyone who desires to conceive can do now to improve their chances of success when they start trying. The number one thing you have control over is your diet – what you eat & drink as well as what you don’t eat & drink – have an enormous effect on both female and male fertility. Focus on lots of fresh organic fruits & vegetables, grass fed, free range, organic meats and lots of healthy fats. In addition, proper supplementations, exercising, reducing stress and getting proper sleep all contribute to increased fertility.

Remember - It takes 2 to Tango!

Male infertility is often overlooked in the fertility equation, but it equates to 40-50% of the infertility equation. It takes 3 months for new sperm to form, so any changes in nutrition and lifestyle need to be continued for a minimum of 3 months prior to starting to conceive. It is equally as important for men to eat an antioxidant rich diet, exercise regularly, take proper supplementations, and reduce stress.
