Immune boosting "Old fashioned" Chicken Soup!

Easy to make and packed full of immune boosting nutrients!


Always select organic food and ingredients, especially when the goal is to boost immune system function. Selecting conventional or genetically modified foods add more toxins for your immune system to process and detoxify and will weaken your immune function hindering your body's ability to fight off viruses, bacteria, microbes, etc.


Recipe:

“Old fashioned” Chicken soup –

1-2 whole organic chicken(s), including bones, skin and organ meat

Organic fresh carrots, celery, mushrooms, ginger root, garlic and parsley, chopped

1 t sea salt & 1 t pepper

Feel free to add in 1/2 t. of optional yet powerful herbs - cayenne and turmeric


Cook the entire chicken in a large stock pot or crockpot filled with water with sea salt & pepper for 1 hour, simmering on medium heat. Add chopped organic carrots, organic celery, organic mushrooms, organic onion, organic garlic, organic ginger root and cook until carrots are soft, approximately 1 hour. Remove chicken, bones and skin carefully, they will be very hot! Dice up chicken meat and return to pot. Sprinkle with fresh chopped organic parsley, leaves and stems.
